I am, as we call it, a self-made artist.

My struggle was an inner one: how to move beyond conventional patterns and make my photography a true art form.

I focus on what makes me happy and gives me the greatest sense of fulfilment – the making and sharing of my work.

All my photographs are taken on my telephone.

In my photographs, I want to show all the beautiful details which we often miss because of the frantic way we run our lives. By carefully looking around, and capturing objects in my own particular way, I show that we’re always surrounded by beauty.

I usually capture the image the way I see it, but sometimes it is arranged.

But even though it might look as if it’s stylised, the image is kept in its original form, without any additional light and in as natural a way as is possible.

I always have my phone with me.

As I try to reveal an object’s hidden beauty, a number of themes often return in my work.

Some photographs can be interpreted in various ways; where one sees a flower, another sees an animal.
